If you have been looking at internet marketing and in particular affiliate marketing then I am pretty sure you have or certainly will come across one of the many Wealthy Affiliate Reviews. Whilst I am going to do another review here for you I am not going to do one of the standard reviews. Rather I am going to point out a few of the problems that you will find inside Wealthy Affiliate.
Now I feel that I am more than capable and qualified to give you a review pointing out the negatives because I have been a member now for about 7 months at the date of publication of this article. But hey, dont get me wrong, the negatives you will find in this site are more than likely some of the positives of other sites who claim to be similar.
The first negative I want to point out is the sheer amount of information that you will find on the site. If you have no idea about internet marketing you will be overwhelmed when you visit the site. Not only is there an 8 week program that teaches you step by step what you need to know, you are actually encouraged to put that training into action as you progress. In many cases what you start to learn can lead to money making opportunities from week one.
Even though there is a stack of information to absorb if you are keen to jump ahead in your training program you won’t be able to do it. You must progress according to the program and each weeks training is only unlocked one week at a time. Whilst this can be annoying it does ensure you spend the appropriate amount of time on the week you are supposed to be working on. If you are a gluten for punishment though you can always read some of the other information that is contained within the learning centre, but that might be a little advanced for the newbie.
Another problem with the site is the huge amount of information, tools and training materials contained there. This can also be a little overwhelming and it might take you some time to navigate around. A fellow member was blown away recently when I showed her some information on the site as she had no idea that section actually existed. Not only that but the information there is also massive. It is called a share zone and is where fellow members upload information to share with others.
Another disappointing thing about the site is that if you are after a get rich quick scheme then you won’t be happy. There is nothing in the site that could remotely be referred to as a get rich quick scheme. Instead the site will teach you how to make money, especially from free methods, with a lot of hard work.
The Wealthy Affiliate site is currently going through a transformation to make all of the information and all of those tools a little more user friendly. I personally find them fine the way they are, but then again I have now been around for a little while. Kyle and Carson who own the site have spent a lot of time reading feedback from members and have spent the last year working on the improvements which will make the site so much more manageable for the newer members.
